Privacy Policy
Buonicore Partners, LLC
PRIVACY POLICY
Buonicore Partners, LLC ("Buonicore Partners") is committed to respecting your privacy.
Please read this policy to understand how your personal information will
be treated. This policy describes the ways that personally identifiable and anonymous
information about our publication subscribers, online product users, and event registrants
is collected, how that information might be shared, and how someone can request
changes to the way their personal information is used or shared. This policy may
change from time to time so please check back periodically. This policy will let
you know the following:
- What personally identifiable information
is collected from me?
- What are cookies and clear gifs
and how they are used by Buonicore Partners?
- How is my information used?
- Who is collecting my information?
- With whom
will my information be shared?
- How can I access, update or delete
my information?
- What else should I know about
my privacy?
- Other legal notices.
1. What personally identifiable information is collected from me?
On some Buonicore Partners Web pages you can make requests and/or receive
materials. The types of personal information collected at these pages, if you choose
to provide it to us, are your name, e-mail address and standard contact information,
including addresses and phone numbers. We may also ask you to voluntarily provide
us with information regarding your personal or professional interests, demographics,
experience with the products and services we provide and contact preferences. Wherever
Buonicore Partners collects personal information, we make an effort to include a
link to this Privacy Policy on that page. Buonicore Partners is not responsible
for the information you volunteer about yourself in discussions in our blogs, forums
or other publicly accessible interactions, or the information that you choose to
make public in any self-generated member profile.
2. What are cookies and clear gifs and how are they used by Buonicore Partners?
Buonicore Partners and our third
party advertising partners may place Internet cookies on your hard drive. Internet
cookies are small files that may be placed on your hard disk for record-keeping
purposes. Cookies are used to (a) remind us of who you are in order to deliver you
better service; (b) estimate our audience size by determining repeat usage of the
Web site to help target content based on user interests and behavior; (c)
track your progress and entries in promotions, sweepstakes and contests, if any;
and (d) measure certain traffic patterns for use as a research tool to understand
how our users’ habits are similar or different from one another. You can set your
browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide
whether or not to accept it. By not accepting cookies, some Web pages may not display
properly or you may not be permitted to access certain information.
Buonicore Partners
may also collect IP addresses (the Internet address of a computer) to track a user’s
session while the user remains anonymous. We analyze this data for certain trends
in statistics, such as which parts of our site users are visiting and how long they
spend there. In general, we do not link your IP addresses to anything personally
identifiable to you.
We may employ, and our third party advertising partners may employ,
a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Pixel Tags/Web Beacons/Web
Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content
is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in
function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In
contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs
are embedded invisibly in HTML content and are about the size of the period at the
end of this sentence. We may tie the information gathered by clear gifs to our customers’
personally identifiable information.
We may use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails
to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge
the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing
campaigns. If you would like to opt-out of these emails, please see "How
do I access,
update or delete my information?" below. If you wish, you may disable clear gifs
by setting your browser and e-mail software to omit images and disable Javascript.
3. How is my information used?
The information
you provide will be used to support your user relationship with Buonicore Partners.
Your information may be shared with agents, contractors,
business partners, and other individuals or businesses with which we may have a

of interest to you. If you do not want to receive such mailings, simply opt out by contacting

We may also use your contact information to ask for
your input to help in our research about our services, events, or products or to
provide you with additional information about this site and about other Buonicore
Partners products, services, or events that we think might be of interest to you.
All promotional and research e-mail messages you receive from us will include an
option to opt out of future e-mail communications

Notwithstanding, Buonicore Partners does research on our users’ demographics, interests
and behavior based on the information provided to us during your use of the Buonicore
Partners Web site. This research is compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis.
Aggregated data does not include personally identifiable information. Buonicore
Partners may share this aggregated data with others.
4. What information do third party advertisers (such as Google) collect on our site?
We use third-party advertising companies
to serve ads when you visit our Web site. These companies may use information (not
including your name, address email address or telephone number) about your visits
to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services
of interest to you.
5. Who is collecting my information?
Please be aware that Buonicore Partners, Buonicore Partners advertisers or Web
sites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information
about you. The information practices of those Web sites linked to Buonicore Partners
either through advertisements or other hyperlinks is not covered by this privacy
statement.
6. With whom does Buonicore Partners share my information?
We may share the personal data you provide with other Buonicore Partners
agents, contractors, business partners, or other individuals or businesses with
which we may have a commercial relationship. When we contract with other companies
to provide us with services, we only share personal information with those that
we believe share our commitment to privacy and information security. However, we
are not responsible for any breach of security or for the actions of these parties.
Due to the design of the Internet and other factors outside our control, we cannot
guarantee that communications between you and our servers will be free from unauthorized
access by third parties. Buonicore Partners also may share aggregated data with
others. Aggregated data does not include personally identifiable information. We
reserve the right to share information to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding
illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the
physical safety of any person, violations of the Terms of Use, or as otherwise required
by law. We also reserve the right to access and disclose personally identifiable
information as we deem necessary to protect the website, the content of the website,
or at the request of law enforcement personnel or agencies. If Buonicore Partners
or a Buonicore Partners Web site goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition
by another company, or sale of assets resulting in a change of control of the Web site,
your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred.
You will be notified via notice on our Web site of any such change in
ownership or control of your personal information.
7. How do I access, update or
delete my information?
You can request the individual information that Buonicore
Partners has collected about you, correct factual inaccuracies in your information,
remove personal information from Buonicore Partners’ databases, opt out of receiving information in the future
and/or update your personal information by contacting
privacy@bepinfo.com.
8. What else should I know about my privacy?
Third party Internet sites
and services accessible through Buonicore Partners have separate privacy and data
collection practices, independent of us. Buonicore Partners has no responsibility
or liability for these independent policies or actions. Please be careful and responsible
online. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public,
you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. While we strive
to protect your information, Buonicore Partners cannot ensure or warrant the security
of any information through the transmission process and you do so at your own risk.
9. Other Legal Notices.
Your continued use of this Web site or receipt of e-mail newsletters and other e-mails from us constitutes your acceptance of this entire privacy statement.
Any dispute over privacy is subject to this privacy policy and our
Terms of Use,
including limitations on damages and application of the law
of the State of Connecticut.
If you have any concern about your privacy in connection
with this policy or wish to contact Buonicore Partners’ Corporate Privacy Manager,
please send us an e-mail
to
privacy@bepinfo.com and we will try to resolve
it. We may post a revised privacy policy on our site. Please note that the use of
information that we gather is subject to the privacy notice in effect at the time
of use. You should check our Web site frequently to see recent changes.
