SAN ANTONIO, TX Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Trane's new commercial office building in San Antonio is comfortable, practical, well-organized, environmentally-responsible -- and it's earned the certification that validates it.
The 32,000 square foot building at 9535 Ball Street has earned the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design(TM) (LEED) Silver certification for Commercial Interiors. It is only the fourth LEED certified building in San Antonio.
Trane had the space built in four months and taken green to accommodate its 75+ sales, service, parts and administrative employees in San Antonio.

Compared to standard office buildings, this building uses 32 percent less water, mechanical systems consume nearly 50 percent less energy, and highly efficient lighting systems have 15 percent less power density.
